Boom in mobile telephony in rural India

The rising number of Mobile subscribers base in India is going to be dominated by rural sector. As per market research done by our market research company more than 50% of mobile users will be from rural area. If we look at below graph we are seeing an enormous increase in subscriber base by year 2013.

Not only rural India is utilising the mobile for voice communications, but rising spending power have made them use this to maximum effect. They are using mobile for money transfer, surfing and shopping as well. However, the percentage of those subscribers is low but is expected to rise at enormous rate in coming years.
